Solar panel cleaning
Your panels can't make power through a layer of pollen
Dust, pollen, salt film, and bird droppings build a haze over solar panels that quietly cuts their output. We clean panels the way manufacturers intend — soft brushes and deionized water, never pressure, never harsh chemicals.

What's included
Manufacturer-safe cleaning
- Panels cleaned with soft brushes and deionized (pure) water
- No pressure washing, no abrasives, no harsh detergents — ever
- Frames and visible mounting areas wiped down
- Debris cleared from around and between panels
- Before/after photos of your array on request
- Honest guidance on a sensible cleaning frequency for your roof
Why it matters here
Rain doesn't clean panels — it spots them
It's tempting to assume Florida rain keeps panels clean. In practice, rain wets the dust and pollen, then dries into mineral-spotted film — the same spotting you see on unwashed car glass. Add coastal salt haze and months of pollen, and panels develop a translucent layer that steals a real share of their output.
Deionized water is the fix: it lifts the film and dries spot-free, because there are no minerals in it to leave behind. Soft brushes handle stuck-on grime without touching the anti-reflective coating that makes your panels efficient.
We deliberately avoid claiming a specific percentage gain — output loss varies by site and season. What we can promise is visibly clean glass, safe methods, and photos to prove it.

Our process
Careful on the roof, careful on the panels
-
Assess the array
Panel layout, roof access, and condition checked before anything touches the glass.
-
Dry debris first
Leaves and loose debris removed so brushing never grinds grit across the surface.
-
Pure-water wash
Soft brush and deionized water lift the film; panels rinse and dry spot-free.
-
Photo report
You see the finished array without climbing anything.
Property protection
How we protect your home while we work
Landscaping protected
Plants and beds near work areas are pre-wetted and rinsed after, so cleaning solutions never sit on your landscaping.
The right pressure, always
Concrete gets controlled pressure; stucco, screens, and soft surfaces get low-pressure methods. Nothing gets blasted "to save time."
Fixtures & openings sealed
Outlets, fixtures, and door seals are covered or carefully avoided. Windows and doors are checked before water flows.
Walkthrough before we leave
We inspect the finished work with you — or send photos if you're away — before the job is called done.

Solar cleaning questions
Will cleaning void my panel warranty?
Our method — soft brushes, pure water, no pressure, no chemicals — matches what panel manufacturers themselves recommend. Aggressive methods (pressure washers, abrasives, harsh soap) are what warranty language warns against, and we don't use them.
How often should solar panels be cleaned in Florida?
For most Southwest Florida roofs, one to two cleanings a year — often after pollen season and after summer — keeps film from accumulating. Coastal exposure and nearby construction can justify more; we'll recommend honestly for your site.
Can't I just hose them off?
A hose helps with loose dust but leaves mineral spotting behind (that's regular water drying on glass), and reaching a roof array safely with a hose is its own problem. Deionized water and proper access equipment are most of what you're hiring.
Do you clean panels on any roof type?
We clean arrays we can access safely with our ladder and pole equipment. Unusually steep or high roofs may not be a fit — we'll tell you before quoting rather than improvise on your roof.

What customers say about this service
We had our windows done yesterday and these young men did a fantastic job. They are very professional and obviously take pride in their work. When they had finished they had me check the windows to make sure they didn't miss anything and then they also double checked. They don't just wash the windows, they clean the screens and everything is now sparkling. We have solar panels and they climbed up on the roof and cleaned those too! I highly recommend this company.
